Call for Workshop Papers & Talks

In addition to exciting technical symposia, tutorials, industry panels and exhibitions, IEEE ICBC 2022 will feature a full-day workshop, Crosschain Workshop. The workshop’s focus is to bring researchers and industry experts from across the world together to advance the fields of crosschain communications.

ICBC Crosschain Workshop 2022 is seeking submissions of technical papers and industry talks in the following areas related to Crosschain Communications:

  • Crosschain bridges
  • Crosschain applications protocols
  • Crosschain function call protocols
  • Crosschain consensus protocols
  • Crosschain cryptoeconomic design
  • Other crosschain communications protocols

The workshop will have two sessions: Academic and Application of Technology. The two sessions will have separate submission processes.

 

ACADEMIC SESSION

Authors are invited to submit original papers written in English that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Technical papers must be formatted using the IEEE 2-column format and not exceeding 8 pages (excluding references). The paper submission templates are available on IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. The review process will be single blind; that is, authors should indicate their names and affiliations on their submitted manuscripts. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore. All papers should be submitted through the EasyChair conference submission system.

Authors of accepted papers will present a 25 minute talk (including question time) at the workshop.

APPLICATIONS OF TECHNOLOGY SESSION

Speakers are invited to submit proposals for industry talks. Industry talks explain applications of technology. The talks must avoid company marketing. Submissions should be in the form: 400 character abstract plus 2500 character detailed, slide by slide overview of the proposed talk. Accepted speakers are required to submit their slides 4 weeks in advance of their talk. The slides would be reviewed for conformance with the agreed talk outline. All talks will be 25 minutes including question time. All talk proposals should be submitted through the EasyChair conference submission system.
